Fife Police are urging drivers in the Collydean area of Glenrothes to make sure they lock their cars, in the wake of a number of thefts from unlocked vehicles in the area.
PC Kerry Anderson the local Community Safety Officer said: “Although vehicle crime is decreasing both locally and nationally, the Collydean area of Glenrothes has recently experienced a spate of thefts from unlocked vehicles.
“Despite increased security on newer vehicles, we cannot relax. and I am urging local people to be particularly vigilant.”
