Fife Man Admitted Taking or Permitting Indecent Photos

A Fife man has been given a three-year supervision order relating to the possession of indecent images.

James Adam Tait, 50 of Dalgety Bay, had previously admitted taking or permitting to be taken, or making indecent photographs or pseudo photographs at an address in Lerwick on or between 15 March 2014 and 17 June 2019.

Tait also previously admitted possessing an extreme pornographic image on or between 24 April 2016 and 25 June 2019.

His case called at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday. and Tait was placed under supervision for three years. He was also sentenced to 100 hours of unpaid work and put on the sex offenders register, forfeiting all items that had contained the images.
