Emergency services have descended on a Fife village amid reports that a child has been hit by a car.
Townhill Main Street was closed off by police who described the incident as a serious road traffic collision.
Police have advised that the road will be closed in both directions for some time and Stagecoach have advised that no buses will be serving the area for the time being.
