Police were called to Carden Castle Park in Cardenden around 9.45pm last night to deal with a disturbance. Locals have described there being “dozens” of police on the scene with many emergency service vehicles in attendance. Despite rumours on social media, the police have confirmed that nobody was seriously injured.
A police spokesperson said: “Police Scotland was made aware of a disturbance in the Cardenden Castle Park area of Cardenden shortly after 9.45pm on Saturday, 11 July.
“Nobody was seriously injured. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
