Kirkcaldy Street Closed and Man Rushed to Hospital After Assault

A man was rushed to hospital and a Kirkcaldy street was closed by Police following an assault. The incident happened on Wilson Avenue around 3pm today and it was reported that areas were cordoned off with police tape.

Several police and emergency services vehicles were in attendance.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of an assault around 3pm on Sunday, 12 July, 2020 in Wilson Avenue, Kirkcaldy.

“A 22-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
