There was a huge police presence this afternoon at an incident in Cullen Drive, Glenrothes, according to the Around Fife facebook page with 5 cars, 2 vans and a dog unit being deployed to the scene.
Eyewitnesses said they saw a man being led away in handcuffs.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.30pm, officers were called to the Cullen Drive area of Glenrothes following a report of an incident.
“A 52-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.”
